Bill Collins

William J. Collins
Batted: Right
Threw: Right
Height: unknown
Weight: 150 lbs.
Born: 1863 in Dublin, Ireland
Died: June 8, 1893 in Brooklyn, NY

Bill "toiled" for four years in the big leagues, getting into a total of five games! He did pick up a couple of hits, and even managed to steal a base. Amazingly enough, he was even pictured on a baseball card as a Met, despite only getting into one game with them! It's shown here, courtesy of M. P. Farris' online Old Judge Museum.
