Harry Brooks

Henry Frank Brooks
Batted: unknown
Threw: unknown
Height: unknown
Weight: unknown
Born: November 30, 1865 in Philadelphia, PA
Died: December 5, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA

Listed at Baseball-Reference.com as, believe it or not, "Fred Mauer?" If he truly was Frederick H. Mauer, then his birth date should be April 19, 1862 in Hamburg, NJ, and his death date should be 1922 in Schenectady, NY—also on April 19.  In his one disastrous game as a big-leaguer, twenty-year-old Harry was the starting pitcher, and gave up thirteen runs in two innings, taking the loss. Still, he pitched one more game in the big leagues than you or I did.  The sketch above is from Baseball-Reference.com.
